favorite designers / brands	dries van noten, yohji yamamoto, limi feu, levis, comme des garcons, ann demeulemeester, bottega veneta, hermes, isabel marant, jutta neumann for belts, marni, vans (specifically the original caballero and the classic slip-on), nike, rittenhouse for t-shirts, birkenstocks (yes, i wrote birkenstocks - i love the "paris" model).

Blog #1: Up and Down Town is a semi-autobiographical work of utter fiction, presented as individual cartoons, meant to be enjoyed as a continuous story that gets updated 5 days a week.
it's the story of a girl, who is no longer a girl, living in a city.

Blog #2: Into Construction is a blog created in response to the fact that fashion has been turned into a fleeting commodity. and value is placed on items, not on style. so the items therefore have a built-in, culturally-supported (in the social and editorial culture) expiration date.

so now "style" is about consumption rather than construction. such a pity. such a waste.

i have far far more value for the construction of style, than the consumption of stuff. but that's not the general way.
