style	Eclectic. I love mixing girly with edgy. I adore vintage and DIY.

favourite fashion moment	For me, I knew I wanted to be a part of this industry when I attended and reviewed my first set of London Fashion Week shows at the end of 2008. My first show was Paul Costelloe, and the ambiance and people there just confirmed that I was suited for the industry. Then, this year I attended LFW and covered the shows again. But it was when I recieved press accreditation from the BFC and got invited loads of shows, including big names like Luella, one of my favourite designers, I knew that fashion, in particular fashion journalism is the career path I should choose,

favorite designers / brands	List is too long, and varies. But some firm favourites... Miu Miu, Preen, Gareth Pugh, Lorick, Luella, Charles Anastase, Ashish, Hussein Chalayan, Alexander Wang, Inbar Spector, Emma Bell, Balmain, Balenciaga, House of Holland, PPQ, Marni, Zac Posen, Mary Katrantzou, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester. Chanel never fails.

music	Varies. Yelle, Ulterior, Wombats, Kings of Leon, Dirty Pretty Things, Little Boots, Mickey Avalon, Lily Allen, Crystal Castles... Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse are awesome. So grateful to the person who introduced me to them.

films	<3 Devil wears Prada <3 Breakfast at Tiffany's <3 Amelie <3 Factory Girl <3 Sex and the City <3 Funny Face <3 Les Choriste

literature	Varies. From intellectual reads like (Diary of Anne Frank) to Chick Lit like (Chasing Harry Winston/Confessions of a Shopaholic) and everything in between. Self confessed bookworm.

art	Gustav Klimt. Favourite piece of art work? Danae. Definitely. Also love Warhol. "you're the boss, applesauce"

sports	I think trekking from show to show at LFW should be a sport. Especially in 5 inch heels. Thank god for the Press Lounge and Mayfair Hotel "Fashion Hub".

travels	France is like a second home. I go there so often. Going to NY - Spring 09 Going to Italy - Summer 09 Then I'll have visited all the main fashion capitals. Score.

other interests	I'm a magazine junkie. So it's no wonder I want to work at a major fashion publication when I'm older. Go figure. Obsessed with: Anastacia and Edie Sedqwick

So, I think I can safely say I was pleasantly surprised when I logged onto my computer this afternoon and saw I was featured as Teen Vogue's "Girl of the Week".

I've always loved looking at the previous Girls of the Week's style, so being one of them is crazy! Crazy but good.

This strange little 15 year old girl...

If you want to describe me in one line, I think this pretty much does it:

A 15 year old fashionista, from London, who is destined to make an impact on the fashion industry.

I'm currently looking for internships/work experience. I'd also love to contribute articles to some fashion magazines.

So the word "destined" makes you think I'm cocky. But really I'm not. I've worked hard for all my achievements, so that I can ensure I get the career I want. My dream is to be the editor in chief of a well-read fashion magazine, or at least have a desirable job in one. And I really do believe this industry is my calling.

I’ve just turned 15, which makes me wonder how I've already scored an awesome journalism job, writing for a top fashion website, and attended a multitude of shows at London Fashion Week two seasons in a row, including big names such as Ossie Clark, Luella and Topshop Unique. I consider myself extremely lucky, and hope to have loads of experiences like this in years to come. It's good to have a head start, even if you are the only 15 year old amongst a bunch of 20/30 somethings at LFW.

I'm also working on a fashion blog called Fashionista Du Jour. I posted LFW coverage there provided an inside look at LFW from the eyes of a budding fashion journalist.

Fashion has always been a prominent aspect in my life. From reading Vogue magazine religiously age 10, to attending my first fashion show age 14. The dream of being a part of the fashion industry was stamped firmly in my brain in indelible ink. Since that very important time of my life, I’ve made fashion one of my most treasured passions. I like to visualize fashion as a never ending staircase. Each day I learn more and more about it, and I get further towards my dream. If my mind was an essay, I’m pretty sure you would see the word FASHION in the largest, bold capital letters in the centre of the page.
